I find it really useful when using osx to have the Control key freed up to use emacs-like shortcuts in most applications, but in Linux it tends to be used for shortcuts instead.
Is there a way to set up Alt to act more like Command and free Control to work with those emacs commands? I'm using KDE.

I find it really useful when using osx to have the Control key freed up to use emacs-like shortcuts in most applications, but in Linux it tends to be used for shortcuts instead.
Is there a way to set up Alt to act more like Command and free Control to work with those emacs commands? I'm using KDE.
