O Rhinopithecus strykeri é unha especie de primates catarrinos da familia dos cercopitécidos orixinario do norte de Birmania e a zona adxacente de China. A especie foi nomeada por Geissmann e colaboradores en 2010 a partir de un cranio e o seu nome puxéronllo en honor ao filántropo Jon Stryker. Estímase que a poboación coñecida está formada por 260-330 individuos. A choiva supostamente fai que esbirre debido á curta pel arredor do seu fociño empinado. A xente da zona informa de que se senta coa cabeza dirixida cara abaixo, agochando a cara entre os xeonllos cando chove, seguramente para protexer o nariz da entrada de auga.[1]


Aínda que a especie é nova para a ciencia, non o é para os cazadores da zona, que lle chaman "nwoah mey" ou "mono coa cara volta cara arriba", en dialecto local. Este mono está ameazado pola desaparición do seu hábitat natural e pola caza.
